Thank you, Mayfield - Let's continue to stay in the fight!

Hey everyone — Tim Choate here.

I want to start by saying thank you to the people of Mayfield.

This campaign is about stepping into the ring for our city and asking the tough questions that too often go unanswered — and we’re already seeing movement.

One of the first things we asked was simple: Where is the city budget?
So we filed an open records request.

After that request was made — and after the budget was sent to us — the city posted it online for everyone to see.

That didn’t happen by accident.
That happened because citizens demanded better — and because tough questions were finally being asked.

And this isn’t the only issue.

At a recent city council meeting, there was clear confusion surrounding the city’s decision to sell property to MEWS for $350,000 — including questions about ownership and what was actually being sold.

That shouldn’t happen when public assets and taxpayer dollars are on the line.

This campaign isn’t about flashy knockouts.
It’s about standing up, staying engaged, and fighting the right way — for transparency, accountability, and better decisions.

If you want to be part of that fight, I invite you to stand with us.
